This old standing motto is still the philosophy with M.J. McLoughlin Building Contractors current Managing Director, Mr. Dermot A. McLoughlin. Dermot is a qualified construction engineer and a chartered builder.

M.J. McLoughlin Building Contractors Ltd. has carried out construction work along the Irish Western seaboard to the highest construction standards, M.J. McLoughlin Building Contractors Ltd. has constructed large scale Ecclesiastic Refurbishments throughout the diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois and the diocese of Elphin. The company have completed a large number of church properties, Including the Parochial House's at Gowel, Carrick on Shannon  which is reported to be the best parochial house in the diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois We have also completed a parochial house at Drumboylan Church, Keadue, County Roscommon

M.J. McLoughlin Building Contractors Ltd. has established a fine reputation with the Office of Public Works (OPW) formally known as the Board of Works carrying out contracts on Schools in counties Mayo and Roscommon. Hospitals in Ballinamore, & Carrick on Shannon, county Leitrim, Factories in Castlerea, county Roscommon and Mohill county Leitrim.

 In Recent years M.J. McLoughlin has moved into property development, some of our work can be seen at Rockingham Estate, Boyle, county Roscommon as well as Carrick on Shannon, county Leitrim.
